This Lycra body suit with detachable tail sleeve is made from 200g four-way stretch Nylon and is water repellent, absorbing less moisture in the stable or when turned out.
Please note that the fabric is water repellent and not waterproof, which means it repels in showers and absorbs less during rolling or in the stable.
For ease of putting on and for horses that don't like suits pulled over the head, this suit has a zip from chin to chest. Soft fleece is at the noseband and around the shoulder line. The belly band is fixed with two high-quality Velcro strips, and the tail sleeve is detachable if not required. Leg straps help keep the back end of the suit in place.
The suit features sealed seams rather than stitched, which helps to keep the coat smoother.
The suit is machine washable on a cool/warm cycle or by hand. Do not use biological solutions as they will strip the water repellency.
As a guide, this is not designed for Shetlands or heavy horses:
